Job Description:
- Strong technical skills in understanding the IBM z Hardware, Storage Disk, Tape hardware and data center management for IBM Mainframes.
- Technical hands-on experience in one or more system programming areas like z/OS, Storage, CICS, DB2/IMS, Capacity planning, Network etc.,
- Experience leading technical teams in hardware & software refresh with Mainframe leadership skills.
- Experience with running complex infrastructure projects with multiple dependencies & ISV products.
- Providing architecture and technology leadership to delivery teams and client relationship management.
- Provides Technical support for hardware and software solutions.
- Provide direction to Team Leaders and tech support resources.
- Broad and deep knowledge of modern enterprise technology and trends from IBM and other vendors.
- In depth knowledge of Mainframe disaster recovery methods, implementation & processes
- Well versed with mainframe hardware and software vendor contracts.
- Clear understanding of client business, Mainframe utilization and usage projections.
- Ability to be self-directed and interact with technology and business partners at all level
- Must have a collaborative, cooperative and motivational approach to leadership.
- Strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills.
- Provides Technical support for SW solutions.
- Understand in all kinds of software audits.
- Provide direction to Team Leaders and resources.
- Proven track record of successful people development, talent retention and building internal career paths for the team.
- Ability to handle High severity incidents, major incident recovery bridges.
- Track availability and Batch SLA’s and taking proactive measures to avoid the risk of SLA breaches with a foresighted approach and change management.
